About
The Partners in Practice Community Toolkit, developed by Anglia Ruskin University with the National Civic Impact Accelerator, is a three-part framework helping universities and community organisations plan, deliver, and evaluate civic projects.
Centred on reverse volunteering, it fosters two-way learning between staff and community groups to address real social challenges. Drawing on pilot projects with unemployed residents and refugee medics, it offers practical guidance on partnership building, accessibility, evaluation, and sustainability.
This replicable model shows how universities can co-create community-led solutions and strengthen their civic mission.
