Student Hubs’ Impact Report 2019-20

The Student Hubs Impact Report 2019-20 highlights the organisation's success in mainstreaming student social action across five university hubs. Key achievements include engaging 1,893 students, of whom 47% were new to volunteering, and supporting 1,129 community participants through 104 projects.

The report showcases how social action enhances student skills, wellbeing and employability while addressing community needs. Despite COVID-19 challenges, Student Hubs adapted programmes online and introduced new initiatives to support communities during lockdown.

The report also presents promising data on the long-term impact of student volunteering on graduate outcomes and active citizenship.
